AI Agents in 2026: How They Really Work and Which Ones Fit Which Jobs
📅 Date: March 30, 2026, 19:30
🎙️ Speaker: Victor Minchev – founder and CEO of Tessier.ai, expert in multi-agent systems and AI-native software delivery, Bulgaria
🔐 About the event:
This event is part of the AI/ML/Big Data user group https://dev.bg/groups/machine-learning/.
Program:
AI agents are no longer just chatbots with nicer interfaces or coding tools in the terminal. In this session, we will build a practical mental model of modern agent systems: what an agent loop is, how system prompts, tools, tool calls, skills, MCPs, subagents, memory, and runtimes fit together, and why these pieces matter in real-world engineering work.
We will also explore the current AI agent landscape through a practitioner's lens, including where chat assistants stop, where coding agents begin, where customizable/open agent systems become valuable, and how to think about long-running and organization-aware agents.
The goal is not hype or vendor theater, but a clear engineering framework for understanding what is real, what is useful, and which kinds of agents make sense for which jobs in 2026.
