👨‍💼 About the Speaker:

Iliyan Kovachev is a Software Development Team Lead with 15 years of experience in the software industry as both a programmer and team leader. He started his career at Dais Software, where he is still working. He has worked on developing web-based products and mobile applications for the banking sector. In the last 5 years, he has led teams developing online and mobile banking solutions for one of Bulgaria’s largest banks.

He finds great satisfaction in helping his colleagues grow professionally, and in recent years, his passion has been building strong teams.

As a student, he was a competitive math participant. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from FMI at Sofia University. He is a sports fanatic and a devoted fan of rock and metal music.
