PROGRAM:
Managers are overloaded — tasks, emails, backlogs, conflicts. We organize meetings, leave late, and never have enough time! And we constantly hear complaints — the build is broken, too much legacy code, and people complain about us micromanaging, not developing the team, everything urgent, shifting priorities... And the team is 50 people, skilled engineers, who could solve it all… and I could finally take my vacation! But no one wants to take ownership, step up, and not mess things up. I don't know about you, but I was like that. I want to share what I changed and how my people grow while I take my vacation.

I've been in IT since “before it was cool.” By nature, I'm an engineer and an extrovert who loves working with people. My greatest satisfaction comes from building teams and the people within them, and from the cool products we create together.
My experience spans startups and enterprises in various fields — from infrastructure to fintech and health, animation to construction, and roles from engineer and sysadmin to CEO, VP @ Nicoya, CTO @ Paynetics, Director @ VMware, CEO @ Methodia, Manager @ SAP, Partner @ Sciant, Lead @ WizCom, Architect @ MultiSoft, Mentor @ Mentor the Young. I’m always close to code and to people.
I studied at Sofia University – Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics and UC Berkeley. I’m passionate about Lean and Agile. I’m most proud of the achievements of the people I helped grow. The most fun I had was working for the Jaguar Formula 1 team.
I am actively interested in, learning, and sharing experience in leadership and building great teams that do amazing things and have fun doing it.
