🧠 About the Event:
AI often works like a “black box” – it makes decisions, but we don’t know why. This seminar will explore Explainable AI (XAI), a field focused on making AI decisions transparent and understandable. You’ll learn:
• What is XAI and why it matters in real-world applications
• Why we need explainable AI models
• Techniques for explaining structured (tabular) and unstructured (image, text) data
• Live demos of SHAP, LIME, Grad-CAM, and other XAI methods
• Lecture + practical part with real use cases
• How XAI builds trust, transparency, and accountability in AI
👨💼 About the Speaker:
Alexander Evtimov is a Data Scientist at Bulgaria’s largest banking-insurance group. He holds a BSc in Informatics from IMC Krems (Austria) and is pursuing an MSc in AI at Johannes Kepler University Linz. His interests include machine learning, data analysis, deep learning, XAI, NLP, and computer vision.
🎯 Perfect for:
• AI and ML developers and enthusiasts
• Data scientists and analysts
• Students and educators in AI-related fields
• Anyone curious about how AI models make decisions
