🔎 About the Event:
Many Python projects, especially in AI and document processing, struggle to transition from proof-of-concept to production. This talk will cover:

• the difference between unit and integration tests;
• how the lack of integration tests can cause degradation and unpredictable outcomes in complex pipelines (OCR, translation, document assembly);
• best practices and tools from the Python ecosystem – pytest, testcontainers, hypothesis – that help ensure stability and quality in real-world conditions.

The session concludes with a Q&A.

🎙️ Speaker: Viktor Botev – CTO & Co-Founder @ Iris.ai
Viktor is the CTO and Co-Founder of Iris.ai, leading its Research and Development teams. Under his guidance, Iris.ai became a global AI leader, with its NLP-based AI Engine recognized as one of the most promising technologies (Fast Company – 2017; AI Xprize – 2020).

Before founding Iris.ai, Viktor worked as a Research Engineer at Chalmers University, Sweden. He holds a degree in Software Engineering from Sofia University and has extensive experience in the corporate world.
