This session will guide you through the essentials of API Management – from understanding how the service works to applying transformations, securing APIs, and building backend APIs. You’ll gain practical insights into how API gateways streamline integration, improve security, and enable scalability in modern applications.

• Understand how the API Management service functions;
• Apply transformations and security to APIs;
• Create and expose a backend API effectively.

⚡ Prerequisites:

• At least 1 year of experience in developing scalable solutions across the software development lifecycle;
• Basic understanding of Azure and cloud concepts (services, Azure portal);
• If you’re new to cloud computing, it’s recommended to complete the AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals course beforehand.
