🎙️ Speaker: Geya Antonova – Interior Designer and Founder of COZY. Design Studio, Bulgaria

🔐 About the event:

Watch a free online seminar titled "Interior Designer as a Business: Clients, Processes, and Scaling" on April 7, 2026 (Tuesday) at 19:00 with speaker Geya Antonova.

This seminar explores interior design not only as a creative profession but as a business. Topics covered include:

  • Is there a place for business in art and art in business?
  • Where is the boundary and how and when to set it?
  • What path must an interior design business take to be able to choose its clients, rather than the other way around?

The seminar will track how clients develop, how projects change, and what systems are needed to work on a larger scale. Real examples will be discussed, including communication with different client types and building a sustainable process. Topics include:

  • Differences in processes, communication, and expectations between private, investment, flipper, public, and institutional projects;
  • How to communicate with corporate versus private clients;
  • What stands behind successful projects beyond visualizations – systems, solutions, and teamwork.

🎯 Suitable for:

  • Anyone aiming to work professionally in the interior design field.

About the speaker

Geya Antonova is the founder of COZY. Design Studio (https://cozydesign.bg/) and an interior designer with a clear entrepreneurial approach to the profession. Before focusing on interior design, in 2015 she created the French macaron brand Chez Fefe (https://chezfefe.com/), developing it from concept and branding into a successful business that she sold in 2017. This experience shaped her pragmatic view on design as a tool for creating value and function, not just aesthetics.

Geya approaches interior design not merely as a visual solution but as a system that must work for people, processes, and business. Her studio's portfolio includes a broad range of projects—from residential spaces to offices, shops, restaurants, medical centers, and specific concepts, with over 80 completed projects. At COZY. Design Studio, architecture, function, and environment guide every project, with style being a result rather than a starting point.

Known for her direct and practical approach, Geya often participates as a speaker and guest in professional events and podcasts, sharing the real side of the interior design business—beyond visualizations.
