🎯 Manual Testing for Accessibility Enhancement
📅 Date: June 26, 2025 (Thursday)
🕔 Start Time: 5:00 PM CET
🌍 Format: Online webinar
🔗 RSVP here: Register now

🔍 About the event:
Manual testing is the cornerstone of web accessibility. It reveals how well designers and developers understand the tools they use and whether their sites are truly accessible.

📣 In this session, you’ll learn:

  • How to use a screen reader (VoiceOver on MacOS)
  • What issues to look for and how to fix them
  • Why semantic HTML and proper ARIA usage are essential
  • How sometimes even "perfectly written code" can still fail accessibility standards

💬 The event includes a Q&A session (in English and German). Recording, slides, and a summary article will be available afterward.

👥 Target audience:
Everyone — from project managers and designers to especially developers and testers who want to deepen their accessibility testing skills.

🎙️ Host:
Julia Undeutsch, Web & UX Accessibility Specialist @ Atos Austria

📅 This session is part of the Accessibility Webinar Series by GDG Vienna, happening every 4th Thursday of the month, with a live in-person event in Vienna planned for autumn.
