Watch a free online seminar on the topic "Test Agent and AI Assistant with Spring AI" on April 7, 2026 (Tuesday) at 19:00 with speaker Iskren Penchev.
This seminar will present the basic concepts behind artificial intelligence and Generative AI in the context of Spring AI through a brief, approximately 20-minute presentation that will build a fundamental understanding of how modern AI models work and how they can be integrated into real software solutions. In the second, practical part (about 35–40 minutes), participants will see two demonstration applications showing real-life applications of the presented ideas: an example of a test agent in which Gemini controls Selenium interactions with web pages and automates user behavior, and a Telegram AI assistant that answers questions related to data from the Bulgarian Commercial Register, demonstrating integration between a language model and an external source of structured information.
During the event the audience will learn about:
- The main concepts behind AI and GenAI in Spring AI;
- How to build an AI-powered test agent for web applications;
- How to create an intelligent chat assistant with access to external data;
- Practical guidelines for integrating large language models into real software projects.
About the speaker:
Iskren Penchev
Iskren was born in Dobrich. He completed his higher education including a PhD degree at the University of Economics – Varna, where he also taught for about five years. For the last 10 years, he has worked in the field of software engineering, specializing in testing web-based applications. His professional experience combines academic training with a practical approach to building and validating quality software.
