About the seminar

The upcoming seminar is focused on the practical course of the tax-social security process – from the first contact with the National Revenue Agency, through inspections and audits, to opportunities for defense and appeals. Real cases from practice will be discussed, common communication mistakes with the NRA, as well as proper procedural behavior that can prevent unfavorable consequences such as issuance of acts, imposition of penalties and interest charges.

Significant emphasis will be placed on the rights and obligations of the tax liable persons, as well as the limits of the authorities of the revenue bodies.

About the speaker

Stanislav Zhekov is the founder and manager of "Stan Consulting BG" Ltd. – an accounting and consulting company. He is a PhD student in financial security at the Military Academy "G. S. Rakovski." He has over 10 years of experience in accounting and tax legislation. He is an expert witness in the class of "forensic accounting expertise" at the Sofia City Court. He is the author of scientific articles related to financial control in the public sector and has delivered reports at scientific conferences.
