OpenFest

OpenFest is Bulgaria’s largest annual event dedicated to free and open-source software, open knowledge sharing, and digital freedom. Since 2003, OpenFest has brought together enthusiasts, developers, activists, and tech professionals who believe in the power of community, transparency, and open access to technology.

The organization behind OpenFest is entirely volunteer-driven, composed of passionate members of the local tech community. In addition to the flagship conference, the team frequently participates in and supports related initiatives and events focused on open source, security, open data, hackathons, and digital rights.
