Enabling event-driven automation using Knative - Robert Guske

This talk introduces how the popular Serverless project Knative empowers modern Platform Engineering teams through event-driven automation. The speaker discusses the straightforward installation of Knative on a Kubernetes cluster using the runtime-foundation module of VMware's Tanzu Application Platform. Attendees will also learn how to integrate a vSphere environment as an event source to Knative with VMware's Tanzu Sources for Knative. The session concludes with a real-world use case focused on Tag-Driven Security utilizing Functions-as-a-Service (FaaS).
