DrupalCon Amsterdam 2019: Autosave and Concurrent editing (conflict resolution) in Drupal 8

This talk introduces two modules designed to enhance the editorial experience in Drupal 8: Autosave Form and Conflict. The Autosave module protects content changes from being lost due to power outages or network disruptions by continuously saving the current state of each entity form. The Conflict module enables concurrent editing, allowing multiple users to edit the same content simultaneously, with automatic merges and visual tools for resolving conflicts when they arise. The speaker examines the current state of these modules, explores their independent functionalities, and discusses potential customizations to maximize their effectiveness.
