DrupalCon Munich 2012: The Drupal Ladder: Resources and activities for meetups

This talk addresses the challenges of increasing contributions to Drupal core as its complexity grows. The speaker discusses the Drupal Ladder project, which aims to simplify the process of contributing by organizing various ways to engage with Drupal core into a structured approach. The initiative began in Boston in 2011, with the goal of creating accessible steps for contributors with minimal prior knowledge of Drupal. This session provides a status update on the project's goals, presents new resources for user groups, and shares case studies, while proposing future steps to achieve the target of 1% of active users contributing to core by 2014.
