DrupalCon Nashville 2018: Modernize D8 Admin UX and Accessibility with Material Admin Theme

This talk explores the advancements in Drupal 8 architecture, highlighting its integration of Composer, Symfony, Twig, and object-oriented PHP, which significantly enhance the development of modern digital experiences. However, the speaker addresses the shortcomings in the authoring experience, site management, and multi-device support that can hinder user interaction. To resolve these issues, the session presents Material Admin and Material Admin Support, a new administration theme based on Google’s Material Design.
