DrupalCon Seattle 2019: Everything I know about Kubernetes I learned from a cluster of Raspberry Pis

This talk presents the evolution of the Raspberry Pi Dramble, originally built as a cluster of Raspberry Pi single-board computers running Drupal 8, and later migrated to Kubernetes for enhanced scalability and availability. The speaker discusses the rationale behind adopting Kubernetes, sharing insights on the associated risks and common pitfalls when deploying Drupal on this platform. Attendees will learn how to set up their own scalable Kubernetes cluster, whether using Raspberry Pis or virtual machines, as well as evaluate the suitability of Kubernetes for their Drupal applications. Basic server administration and familiarity with Drupal 8 are recommended for optimal understanding of the session.
