Fabian Potencier, I'm in charge of the technology at Platform.sh. The transition from Platform.sh to Upsun is a recognition of an evolution that's been, honestly, happening for a number of years now. We started as a the commerce guys, which was an agency that had built their own e-commerce software, and we evolved to Platform.sh, which was a platform as a service for e-commerce and content management systems. Upsun captures
the essence of what we do. We want all the applications to be up always, and that's our core job to do it. We also want to have our customers back all day long and follow the sun at whatever time of the day and night, we want to be there for our customers. So, Upsun sounded like the right name for for what we do. We always did things
like infrastructure monitoring and different aspects of platform as a service, but now we're really to the point where we're we're helping platform engineering teams not only come up with the ideas, develop the ideas, deploy the ideas, but also do the run and the manage all the way through. Is that Upsun is based on the same platform that we've been developing for 10 years, but we have added
way more features so that we can we can cover more use cases. We can handle different use cases, different verticals, different types of software and languages. It's quite exciting. So, we are up to another 10 years of exciting growth and development. You're going to see us expand into the enterprise and solve an even wider range of use cases for customers, and this evolution is just going to
get faster and faster. Upsun has been an API-first platform, which covers all the features that we are offering to our customers. It's just the beginning. There's so much more we can do, so much more we can deliver, so much more value we can and to our customers. Upsun gives developers what they want: speed, simplicity, and scalability. Upstream also gives enterprises what they want: standardization, security, and sustainability.
So, I encourage you to take a fresh look at Upstream and see what other kinds of problems you can solve.
