K8s-sigs NFD × SYLVA: Declarative Image-to-Node Compatibi... Eduardo Arango Gutierrez & Chaoyi Huang

This talk addresses the challenges of ensuring portable images perform consistently across diverse telco and edge environments. Eduardo Arango Gutierrez from NVIDIA and Chaoyi Huang from Huawei Technology Co., Ltd share insights from a field deployment developed with the k8s-sigs Node Feature Discovery (NFD) maintainers and the SYLVA telco-cloud community. The session highlights how host requirements can be encoded as a versioned OCI artifact, validated before scheduling to optimize admission and CI/CD processes across heterogeneous platforms.
