Lecture 1 Details:

The automation of robotic arms in warehouse operations presents challenges—not always where you expect them. The real test comes during peak load times when several operations overlap, priorities shift within split seconds, and every decision has real costs.

This session will demonstrate how FastAPI, RabbitMQ, Celery, and MariaDB are connected to keep the system stable and predictable at a scale of over one million orders per year. The focus is not only on response to incidents but on designing the system to remain resilient under changing conditions: what to automate, where to allow controlled manual intervention, and which compromises between speed, quality, and reliability are acceptable.

This is not a story about an ideal world but about real situations, risks, and lessons from daily engineering work.

About the Speaker:

Kristian Atanasov is a Senior Software Engineer at eBag working on production systems for warehouse automation. His career path includes cloud giants like AWS, and experience in automotive, banking, and energy industries. He believes good engineering is not just about finding solutions but creating a mindset environment where good solutions are born sequentially through systematics, analysis, and constructive critique.
