DrupalCon Amsterdam 2019: Content Management as Critical Success Factor for Personalized Medicine

This talk features Rudolf Koopmann and Markus Kalkbrenner from bio.logis GIM GmbH, focusing on the integration of Drupal as a content management system in the "ubiquitous pharmacogenomics" project (U-PGx) funded by the European Union. The presentation addresses the challenges of managing content and knowledge in personalized medicine, particularly in ensuring quick findability, translation, quality assurance, and workflows. The U-PGx project employs bio.logis' Genetic Information Management Suite to support a study across seven European countries involving approximately 8000 patients, aiming to prevent adverse drug reactions and optimize treatment options based on individual genetic variations.
