DrupalCon Barcelona 2015: Coding with Rules for Drupal 8

This talk focuses on the #d8rules initiative, which aims to port the Rules module to Drupal 8. The session features speakers fago, klausi, and dasjo, who guide participants in writing events, conditions, and actions for Rules in Drupal 8, making it an excellent case study for those familiar with basic Drupal development concepts. Attendees will learn about applying new architectural patterns, understanding the Core Plug-in and Context systems, and utilizing the Typed Data API. The session also covers writing Rules action and condition plugins, related configuration entities, and YAML files, as well as embedding reusable components in modules. It is important to note that Rules 8.x is currently in its early phase and does not yet have a stable release.
