Integrating Integrations: A Tale of Two Vendors: DrupalCon Portland 2022

This talk features Tony Savorelli discussing the challenges faced by Pega in streamlining their multilingual content workflow. With a complex data structure, a dynamic marketing team, and two translation vendors, Lingotek and Acclaro, Pega experienced significant inefficiencies due to manual processes such as excessive copying and pasting. The session highlights the goals set for improving data flow between vendor APIs using Drupal as a central control system, enabling the translation of multiple related nodes simultaneously, and leveraging existing solutions to enhance the localization process. It also covers the technical building blocks necessary for this initiative, along with a demonstration of the completed work.
