About this talk
This talk explores the initiative of a self-organized group of students dedicated to advancing rocket engineering within Bulgarian education. The group aims to design a liquid-fueled rocket capable of reaching the Kármán line at an altitude of 100 km and ensuring a safe, controlled landing. Members from various institutions, including Sofia University and the Technical University of Sofia, collaborate on this voluntary project, which focuses on research-driven rocket design and construction. With support from industry experts and academia, they develop rocket engines, onboard electronics, infrastructure, and simulations, while prioritizing outreach to high schools to inspire young people towards careers in science and engineering.
